Why Not?

Our society does not have the reason to believe that they can accomplish their dreams; people need to believe that they can do whatever they set their minds to, by being motivated in all places of their lives like Twitter, Television, and even through other people.

Nobody looks on different websites to get motivated. That is why to get people motivated, has to start where they can receive inspiring quotes and information about successful people, so that can inspire them to be the next motivational story in the paper. The best place to receive inspiration is on Twitter. The best place to advertise is Twitter because advertising can be done to people depending on their interest; also “There are 115 million active users every month and 40% of the 646 million users just read the tweets,” stated by statisticbrain “and 135,000 people sign up per day.” Reaching out to 646 Million people is insane, even if we can only advertise to a fraction of all the Twitter users. To advertise on Twitter would cost anywhere between “$2.50 to $4.00” (Socialmediatoday.com). If we are to get over 500 followers that would be a lot of money, but there is another way; we can ask other popular Twitter pages that support us to give us “shout outs” so their followers can see that we are out there. Twitter will be a starting ground to get people motivated because of the ability to reach out to millions of people with just a few clicks of a button.

Once there is a success on Twitter, the campaign can start branching out to the masses by Television. Television is one of the greatest, if not the greatest to get places advertised. “Television is such a great place to get well known because 99% of America owns at least one TV, also on average each household watches 7 hours of Television a day,” according to csun.edu. The drawback of advertising on television is that it costs an arm and a leg; for a thirty second commercial in super bowl XLVIII it would have ran a company $4 million (BleacherReport.com). But if a campaign got in front of that big of an audience it would cause so much change in peoples lives.

To change somebody's life completely would be nearly impossible, that is why the motivation has to come from within the person himself. This campaign itself will not be able to change a persons life unless the person is changed emotionally by the message that they receive. Everyone is subject to change but not everyone will be willing to change and that is understandable. This campaign is trying to fight against the unwillingness to change and may not succeed, but for every failure there is a success, and there needs to be more success in this world.

With more success there are more jobs. Although this campaign doesn’t make much of any direct jobs, it will make unlimited indirect jobs. This means that if someone succeeds from the motivation of this campaign, to accomplish their dreams, then they can make their own jobs. That would create an unmeasurable amount of jobs. Besides the unimaginable amount of jobs driven by this campaign; there will be some jobs made directly from the campaign. There will be endorsements given out to celebrities so that the campaign can reach out to their followers.

If people are accomplishing their dreams, big or small, this world would be a much happier place to be. That is why we need the people to have more motivation to become the best or better at what they believe. Michael Jordan was so bad at basketball in high school that he actually got cut from the high school team. Michael Jordan went on to become the best basketball player that has ever walked the Earth. But not everyone will have the drive that Michael Jordan had to accomplish his dream, and that is what this campaign is for. This campaign is meant to give people a push to believe in their dreams so that there can be more Michael Jordans in the world.
